1. Scope of Requests

We may review takedown requests relating to content that allegedly:

  • infringes intellectual property rights
  • violates privacy, publicity, or personal rights
  • is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or defamatory
  • violates our Terms and Conditions or other platform rules
  • creates legal, compliance, safety, or operational risk for the platform

2. Submitting a Takedown Request

A takedown request should include:

  • your full name and contact information
  • identification of the content at issue
  • the relevant URL, listing, or page location
  • the reason for the request
  • supporting documents or evidence
  • a statement that the request is accurate and submitted in good faith

3. Review and Action

Upon receiving a request, SmashPoints may:

  • acknowledge receipt
  • request additional supporting information
  • temporarily restrict access to the content
  • remove or disable the content if justified
  • notify the affected user where appropriate

4. Platform Discretion

Except where removal is legally required, SmashPoints reserves the right to determine whether content should be removed, restricted, or retained.

5. False or Abusive Requests

False, misleading, bad-faith, or abusive takedown requests may be rejected and may result in further action where appropriate.
